📍 ABOUT THE INCA TRAIL
The Classic Inca Trail is a 43km trek through the Andes
from Km 82 to Machu Picchu at 2,430 meters above sea level.
Built by the Incas in the 15th century, this ancient road
passes through some of the most spectacular scenery in
South America including high mountain passes, cloud forests
and dozens of Inca ruins.
Only 500 people per day are allowed on the trail —
book at least 3-4 months in advance.
